    Adoption Services

50_kids_groupAdoption is a way of meeting the developmental needs of a child by legally transferring ongoing responsibility from the birth parents to the adoptive parents, recognizing, that in the process, a new kinship network develops which forever links those two families together through the child. This kinship network, may also include significant others, such as the foster family who have been part of the child’s experience. Adoption is a lifetime commitment to a child.

The Society is committed to finding suitable permanent homes for every child who is legally available for adoption. Children placed for adoption range in age from newborn to school age, and their racial and cultural backgrounds reflect Toronto’s multicultural mosaic.

The Catholic Children's Aid Society of Toronto sees each child as an individual and makes every effort to find a family that will meet their unique/special needs.
