Research at CCAS

The Catholic Children's Aid Society of Toronto welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with academics from recognized institutions, post-graduate students, and service organizations and associations.

Research activities are recognized as a valid method of advancing knowledge and providing a sound basis for practice. The CCAS has a history of participating in studies that have contributed to knowledge about child welfare and its service delivery. Proposals are first reviewed by the Research Committee chaired by the Manager of Quality Assurance with recommendations to participate, or not, made to the Executive Director. This review process seeks to expand the learning opportunities for all participants and ensure appropriate consideration is given to the needs of the agency's clients and organizational perspectives.
